Haltom City Councilman Anthony Reed said he pulled in over $75,000 in campaign contributions Tuesday, but the cash isn't for him.
Reed, 22, is an avid supporter of Republican gubernatorial candidate Debra Medina's. Last year, he launched MedinaMoneyBomb.com to encourage people to donate to Medina's campaign on specific days. The first two money bombs -- in October and December -- took in over $30,000, according to campaign finance records.
